I purchased these as I've used IXS before and always been really pleased with the size and quality of the brand. Being 5ft2 and a UK size 20/22 it's hard to find stuff on the bigger size but IXS has previously come through shining.
I purchased the 5XL short (this being the equivalent of a UK 24) and was dismayed to find that I was inches away from being even remotely close to fastening them and that they were a slim fit all over - almost like a petite style. This was vastly different to a 3XL regular I tried in store and only found them to be slightly too small.
Unfortunately there wasn't a 5XL regular to try in comparison, but I wouldn't assume that something advertised as a short leg is automatically going to be a smaller cut all round which completely negates the point of a short leg style.
Size chart
We want everything to fit right . Take some quick measurements if you are unsure of your current clothes size. The most accurate measurements will be those you take in your underwear, applying the measuring tape directly to your body.
