HYDRO_BOT technology:

• HYDRO_BOT is the first active moisture-transporting membrane that transports moisture and steam from the inside to the outside by means of electro-osmosis. This was developed and tested in professional laboratories in collaboration with the Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (EMPA).
• The HYDRO_BOT fabric transports moisture electronically when required, regardless of external factors such as temperature and humidity, with direct electronic control of the direction and amount of transport. The membrane is equipped with billions of pores/m2. When the elements receive a small, electrical impulse, moisture is transported away from the body at high speed through the pores to the outside of the jacket. This process is known as electro-osmosis.
• The HYDRO_BOT insert is strategically positioned at the most sweat-intensive areas on the back.

Use:

• Connect the control box to the cable of the HYDRO_BOT system in the jacket
• Insert the control box into the pocket provided in the jacket
• Charge the control box with the USB charging cable. A red light flashes while charging. The battery lasts 16 hours under normal conditions
• Start the system by pressing the button on the control box:
• Press once: permanent green light, the system is on
• Press twice: flashing green light, the system is in standby. In standby mode the HYDRO_BOT system can be activated and deactivated
• To switch off, press the button for 3 seconds. A red light flashes briefly and the system is switched off

Care / cleaning:

• For best results, it is recommended to wear functional underwear made of synthetic materials with good moisture transport properties.
• The control box must be removed from the jacket before washing
• Please wash by hand or separately at 30 ° C with a low spin (max. 500) or completely without spinning
• Do not tumble dry and do not iron
• Warning: Carrying a backpack can reduce the functionality of the system. A backpack with a ventilation system is therefore recommended.
• The material of the HYDRO_BOT system itself does not have a high water column. It works like a water pump, not a water barrier.
