How it works
I had to send back the first pair that I had bought to my normal size and had the next size up . The delivery was good but when I needed to know if they had received them back there was no reply. The boots took some wearing in but now they have softened they are very comfortable by winter they should be great for thick socks. The heels are coming apart a bit but an easy fix. Overall a good boot for the money and should give good service.

Was going to buy Gaerne Midland but then tended to IXS Trail because they are almost twice cheaper and I do not regret. IXS Trail are very comfortable. I haven't tried on a bike yet, but for walking they fill just great. They are very similar to Gaerne Midlands, just a little bit shorter which makes them more comfortable fo walking and have a better shin protection. And I think you cannot find anything better for this price. My size is 42, and they fill just right. Again, comparing to Gaerne - they both fill exactly the same, maybe IXS Trail fill just a little bit more softer, and in my taste they also look a bit better. --- Was a bit disappointed by fc-moto customer service. My order as marked as "delivered" a week before I actually received it. Sent two mails to customer support, they never replied.
