How it works
Der Helm aus der Serie Falcon des Herstellers KYT ist gut verarbeitet. Die Marke KYT ist in Europa noch nicht so bekannt, dafür stark auf dem asiatischen Markt vertreten. Die Lackierung ist ausgezeichnet. Die Passform ist eher eng. Ich habe einen Kopfumfang von 58 cm und somit Größe M. Meine Kopfform ist leicht oval oder "intermediate oval" wie es englischsprachig heißt. Die Helmgröße 57/58 sitzt bei mir wie gesagt straff. Wer eine runde Kopfform hat wird der Helm seitlich zu eng sein. Der Helm besitzt ein Pumpsystem mit dem man die Wangenpolster aufblasen kann. Das funktioniert prima und man merkt den Effekt deutlich. Im Kinnbereich reicht der Helm bis nahe ans Kinn, da ist relativ wenig Platz. Die Sonnenblende geht weit genug herunter, ohne die Nase oder Brille zu berühren, und hat eine mittlere Tönung, nicht zu hell und nicht zu dunkel. Die Kinn- und Oberkopfbelüftung ist auch mit Handschuhen leicht zu bedienen. Der Helm kommt mit einem PinLock Antibeschlag Insert. Das Helmvisier ist sehr robust und dicker als bei den meisten Helmen. Das Sichtfeld ist horizontal und seitlich gut. Die Windgeräusche während der Fahrt sind im Vergleich zu Nolan, HJC und Shark Helmen im Durchschnitt. Durch die ausgeprägte Keilform, ähnlich wie bei AGV, liegt der Helm bei höherem Tempo gut im Wind. Alle Innenpolster lassen sich zum Waschen aus dem Helm entnehmen. Fazit: ein gut ausgestatteter Helm mit eher enger Passform zu einem günstigen Preis.
