Along with a new aggressive look and feel the 3DF impact foam is now injected rather than using adhesive which offers many benefits such as better comfort, moisture wicking and giving a much-improved 3D shape. Impact protection in the chest, back and shoulders with side panels ensures this is best level chest protector in Leatt's range. All hardshell panels including the shoulders have been slimmed down and re-shaped to be more comfortable and less bulky, improved ventilation will keep you cooler and it works with or without a Leatt Neck Brace.

Took a huge crash off of a cliff and this kept me well protected. It doesn’t get in the way it when I’m riding and I find it comfortable.

Well, I am the one of riders who takes protection very seriously. Product fits just perfectly and chest and back are extremely very well protected. I am missing little bit roubustnes of shoulders and ribs protection from 5.5 model. Anyway even smaller still shoulders are rated as level 1. Ribs now have some kind of thick rubber which gave more flexibility. Fixing neck brace is much easier then on 5.5. Personally missing that slid in fixing points. In general very happy with it. Fits nice under my off-road jackets. Ventilation in general is good. With this size of protection at front and back you will not get it more. In general very happy with product. I would like ot see 7.5 as combination of chest and back and adjustability of 6.5 and shoulder and ribs protection from 5.5 FC delivered quickly
