The Leatt ADV Flowtour 5.5 ladies motorcycle textile jacket offers versatile protection and comfort for riders riding in a variety of conditions. This jacket is ventilated for maximum airflow and features a removable waterproof inner jacket that can be quickly slipped on when needed. With its durable Leatt RipStop outer shell and large X-Flow mesh inserts, the jacket ensures permanent ventilation and comfort on longer rides. The Flowtour 5.5 also offers numerous storage options and is equipped with reflective details for increased visibility.

Gute Idee, Design und Qualitätsprobleme (30.05.2025)

Beim Auspacken wirkt es wie eine sehr wertige, gut verarbeitete, schöne Jacke. Enttäuschung Nr 1 beim Anprobieren: beim ganz normalen Schliessen des Reißverschlusses der Regenjacke zerbricht dieser in 2 Teile und ist nicht mehr nutzbar. Na gut, kann ja eine Fertigungstoleranz sein, dafür gibt es Rücksendungen…
Aber die Jacke wird beworben und vermarktet als sehr gut belüftet und man sieht auch viel Mesh.. Auf Grund dessen wurde auf alle Belüftungsreißverschlüsse oder ähnliches verzichtet. Nach 5 Min tragen in der Wohnung bei 19 Grad ohne hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit mit T-Shirt drunter: Viel zu warm! Bei wirklich heissen Temperaturen riskiert man an der roten Ampel einen Hitzschlag. Grund 1: unter dem Aussen-Mesh zwar auch Mesh aber halt ein typisches recht docke Innenfutter mit natürlich anderer Lochung als Aussen-Mesh. Grund 2: an/in allen Aussentaschen ist dermassen viel Plastikartige Polsterung, sollen wohl „wasserfest“? (klappt so sicher jedoch nur kurzfristig) daß man an den Stellen wie in Frischhaltefolie gewickelt ist. 😱. Grund 3: bleibt also der eigentliche Mesh Anteil. Der sieht nach super Belüftung aus aber in der Realität ist hinten das Mesh hauptsächlich nur über dem Protektor und vorne im Brustbereich gibt es 2 Fronttaschen die die Belüftung stören. Die rechts, von aussen geht noch gerade so, auch wenn hier jetzt die Luft durch 4! Schichten verschiedenporiges Mesh muss statt 1. Auf der linken Seite ist eine Innentasche, wieder aus wasserfestem, plastikartigem Material, die fast die gesamte Meshfront auf der Innenseite abdeckt und somit funktionslos macht. Und abschneiden kann man diese Brusttaschen von innen nur sehr fraglich, sie sind an den Seiten mit einem Band befestigt, welches aussieht wie ein relevanter stabilisierender/tragender Teil der Konstruktion.
Fazit: Wenn das Mesh ohne die Brusttaschen eine Chance hätte seine Aufgabe zu erfüllen und vielleicht an den grossen vorderen Taschen und hinten an der Seite der Taschen ein Belüftungsreißverschluß wäre, dann wäre es die perfekte Jacke!! Die Protektoren machen einen super Eindruck, Die Abriebfestigkeit auch, Kragen bequem, Regenjacke innen oder aussen ist ein super Konzept und stylisch ist sie auch.
