With the new Ø 167 MHR fan, code 7419899, we’ve reduced the number of blades without compromising cooling performance meeting the demands of enthusiasts with high-performance engines (over 9000 rpm).
Blades in motion To achieve this remarkable result, our team has reduced the number of main blades from 16 to 12 – alternating with 12 auxiliary blades – while maintaining the same cooling power.
The secret behind the impressive airflow that the fan can move lies in the special curvature of the main blades: compared to fan 7416936B, the main blades indeed have a greater curvature. It is precisely thanks to this new design that the new 7419899 maintains the same cooling power while reducing the number of blades and, consequently, increasing the component's lightness..
Gleaming beauty Moreover, the new Ø 167 MHR cooling fan is entirely milled from solid anodized red aluminum alloy and finished with diamond-cutting in the mounting area. Merely a cosmetic whim? Far from it: the diamond-cutting, in addition to ensuring a longer product lifespan, guarantees a perfect adherence to the housing area. This entails:
improved efficiency in the dissipation of generated heat,
a reduction in vibrations,
a decreased risk of loosening.
