How it works
The wing clutch bell has a ring-shaped, finely ribbed reinforcing ring. This ensures excellent heat dissipation. This leads to very good starting behaviour and the best acceleration from low engine speeds. This technological innovation is the result of extensive testing on the race track. The design of the clutch bell is based on the following principles: The design of the cooling fins enables a larger surface area for dissipating heat and thus significantly reduces the operating temperature of the clutch bell. Durability is greatly increased. The stresses and strains of city traffic, uphill riding and pillion use place special demands on a clutch system. For this reason, Malossi has further developed the Maxi Wing Bell to protect your clutch. In high-performance racing engines, the clutch system is also subject to extreme speed loads. The centrifugal forces increase in proportion to the square of the engine speed. The reinforced cooling fin ring counteracts this load and protects the bell against failure.</p
