How it works
The heatable Foton 2.0 RTX motorcycle gloves by Macna are the perfect companion for rides in cold and rainy weather.
The Dual Power technology enables you to choose between a 7,4 or 12 Volt power supply, which can be a separate battery or a direct connection to your bike. Macna offers different batteries and numerous cable options (sold separately) to provide comfortable warmth with only one power source for your entire set-up. This kit includes two 7,4V/2,2A batteries that last up to 4:30 hours. A handy button indicates the battery status and current power level. There are four different levels of intensity which can be adjusted by 20% with a single push on the button. Each level is indicated in its own colour for you to easily spot if the heat is on.
Features:
Kit including gloves, two 7,4V/2,2A batteries and a charger
Breathable, waterproof Raintex membrane
Thermo lining
4 heating levels
Battery level indicator
Centrack 30° buckle for smart adjustment
Adjustable cuff and wrist strap
TouchTip for touch-screen compatibility
Screen Cleaner: wiper blade integrated into the index finger for cleaning the visor from water
I find the gloves to be very comfortable and true to size, the batteries easily store into a sack behind a zipper at the entrance of the glove, no messing around with turning the batteries on, if they are plugged in you can just put them away and when you want to go ride just hold the button on both gloves and cycle to the right setting (which it also remembers from when you powered it off)
For harsh winter temps i would still wear them but in combination with heated grips they work better because they only heat the upper side of your hand instead of also the underside.
