After they arrived, i had the boots on for about 2 hours, just walking around the house, trying them on. Although, they seemed very comfortable at first, they started to feel very uncomfortable after an hour or two. The straps were too long for max. adjustment and they were in the way. Overall, the quality was okay and they were true to size (43 eu). I sent the boots back, because of the pain they caused in my calves.

I couldn't find these boots in New Zealand. The FC Moto price beat anything comparable that was available and arrived much quicker than expected (under 2weeks) so I'm delighted. The boots are great quality, as you'd expect from Merlin, with easily adjustable straps to achieve that 'snug' fit. Although tough with strong support they were a perfect fit and comfortable straight out of the box. They complement my Merlin waxed jacket perfectly; I'll be wearing these a lot.
