How it works
MAB v4 features the same airbag technology as MAB v3, including Fast Lock accident detection with analog accelerometer. The D-loop for attaching Fast Lock to the motorcycle saddle is included in the package. The airbag is ready to deploy. Reusable.

The inner jacket is removable from the MAB v4 and can be worn over any other jacket like a MAB V3

Reusable: Once MAB City is activated, it can be recharged by the user using the charging kit in a few minutes after carrying out a simple test described in the manual.
The airbag system is equipped with automatic deflation valves: the MAB protection state lasts approximately 30 seconds and then completely deflates within a few minutes.
There are loops in the vest through which Fast Lock comes out of the vest. Fast Lock releases after MAB is activated and remains attached to the saddle.
The MAB is equipped with an airbag activation system: before the airbag system is activated, the cable must be extended, the elastic restoring force of Fast Lock must be overcome and a load of 15 kg must be applied.
Fast Lock is compatible with the Mini Frog miniature quick release.

Bester Auslösemechanismus aller mechanischen Westen;sehr guter Brust- und Rückenschutz.Diese beiden Kriterien waren der Grund für die Bestellung. leider war mir die Weste etwas zu schwer und ich hatte Bedenken, dass es im Sommer zu warm würde unter der Weste. habe mich aus den genannten Gründen dann doch für ein in eine Jacke integriertes Airbagsystem entschieden(unter anderem auch, weil meine alte Jacke bereits 30 Jahre alt war) ,wenn auch mit etwas Wehmut ,da mir die Weste ansonsten sehr gut gefiel(26.06.2025)

Keine Erfahrungen im praktischen Einsatz; passform war bei Anprobe gut. Ich habe mich dann aber aus den oben genannten Gründen für ein anderes Produkt entschieden.
