BMW F 800 GS from model year 2008
The BMW F 800 GS with 798 parallel twin came onto the market in 2008 as a rounding off of the 800 model family and as an independent enduro below the large Boxer GS. It is a fully-fledged everyday and travel enduro and fulfils both sporting and tourist requirements. With electronic engine management, petrol injection, controlled catalytic converter and safety-enhancing ABS braking system, the F 800 GS offers the forward-looking technology, environmental and safety standard that has shaped BMW motorcycles for many years. Furthermore it combines dynamic driving friends and reliability on a high level. If equipment, engine and chassis are properly maintained, which is not difficult for experienced hobby screwdrivers, then the F 800 GS is an ideal moor bike for everyday use, sport and travel, which can be faithful to its owner over many years of service. But because despite optimal maintenance and care somewhere on the roads of this world, where no BMW workshop is nearby, the defect devil can strike, this book was written.
