What could be one of the best helmets, is flawed.
Visibility is outstanding with this helmet and that point is what motivated me to buy the unit. It has a very wide eye-port; when you look out of the corner of your eye you see out of the helmet instead of the interior of the helmet... unlike virtually all other motorcycle helmets. Incredible; but is it just me and "Nexx" that realize you need to see, to be able to avoid collisions?
The Nexx RX2 is also extremely light, that is a good thing too.
On the downside the helmet borders on being uncomfortable. It is difficult to put on and take off, and the lining could only be rougher if it was made out of sand paper. If you are a motorcycle courier who has to remove your helmet every time you enter a building forget this brain bucket until Nexx does something about the lining... or you will have the sides of your face and ears abraded off from getting the helmet on and off by the end of the week.
If the example I bought is anything to go by, the quality control at Nexx is non existent. The lining looked like it had been sewn by a drunk spastic, and the visor was cracked next to its mounting point. Credit goes to FC Moto for providing me with a new lining and visor though... thanks guys at FC Moto.
Having said all that, I dont regret the purchase, as the outstanding visibility and light weight outweigh the downsides.
