We suggest keeping the new cork discs in oil one night long before its fitting.

POLINI CLUTCH KIT with WAVE SPRING
for VESPA 50/125 SMALL FRAME
Polini increases its clutch range for Vespa 50; Special, 125 ETR3, primavera PK 50/125 and small Frame.

Specifically two are the clutches:

• 4-disc clutch with wave spring – FOR RACE
• 4-disc clutch with wave spring – EVOLUTION

Both the models stand out for the brand new wave spring. The wave spring is a spiral of new design produced with high-precisions techniques.
This spring, thanks to its honeycomb structure, grants a perfect flatness of the clutch thrust sides and it can bear loads till 200kg.
Polini wave spring is set by the factory to bear 80 kg, that can be modified thanks to the setting shims available in the packaging, that let the variation of the load till 200 kg of thrust. The spring is perfectly placed in the clutch hub prearranged with a proper centering housing.
The clutch hub and the pressure-plates are made of machined nitride steel.
The material used to produce the clutch discs lets a greatly increased friction coefficient thus increasing its resistance under stress.
The FOR RACE clutch is made of 4 steel discs with cork friction material (1,9mm thick) and 3 steel discs (1mm thick) and its assembly is recommended on original engines or with max. 15hp.
The EVOLUTION clutch is made of 4 steel discs with sintered friction material with high performance (1,9mm thick) and 3 steel discs (1mm thick) and its assembly is recommended on tuned engines with more 15hp.
