Rukka Aramos Motorcycle Leather Jacket

I had mixed feelings ordering this jacket. The reviews online were great but some pointed out the less than optimal materials for the price. After it arrived all doubts went away.

This jacket is phenomenal. Upfront I will say the back protector runs a bit long and if you ride a sports bike in the tuck position, the neck might suffer a bit due to its high profile. I placed the protector in my Kriega R35, problem solved.

Ordered a size 56 at the beginning of the winter though I am usually a 54 and it was the right choice since I ride all year round (Japan). With proper layering, NOTHING gets past this jacket. I ride a BMW K1300S daily on highways and I can attest to the formidable windproof capabilities. The waterproof is also outstanding although the maximum I rode in the rain was for an hour and half (bone dry). I also gave it an extra wax waterproofing coating. To those who are in doubt about the non-leather parts of the jacket in regards to wind/water proof, be at ease. This jacket will not disappoint at all. The Aramen version provides extra leather on the inner parts of the body and for the die-hard fans of all leather it's fine, but it makes no real difference as I tested my friend's jacket. It's money well spent, no regrets. I bought with discounted price plus Black Friday deal, what a steal!
