The SHAD TR48 Terra Black Edition Top Case has been specially developed for discerning motorcyclists who expect maximum durability, modern design and high functionality. Designed and manufactured entirely in Barcelona, the TR48 impresses with its durable construction made from hardened aluminium alloy. This material allows for an exceptionally thin wall thickness of just 1.2 mm without compromising on stability – ideal for anyone looking for a lightweight yet extremely durable top case.
The aerodynamic, integrated structural design ensures high torsional rigidity and blends harmoniously with the appearance of modern adventure and touring motorbikes. The Black Edition’s black, scratch-resistant powder coating also gives the case an elegant look and increased resistance to external influences.
With space for one trail helmet or two helmets (modular + jet), the TR48 offers generous storage capacity for touring, day trips and commuting. The foam-lined base minimises movement of the contents and protects delicate items. The patented TERRA Lock System allows for convenient one-handed operation – opening, closing, removing and carrying can be done in a matter of seconds. The case frame is rubberised and fully sealed, ensuring the contents are reliably protected from rain and dirt.
External stainless steel hooks also allow additional equipment to be secured. Installation is carried out using a separately available SHAD Top Master carrier and a matching mounting plate, which is available in various designs depending on personal preference. Furthermore, the SHAD Premium locking system offers enhanced theft protection and, if required, can be used with side cases via a single key. A backrest, inner pocket and even a BMW-compatible lock cylinder are available as optional extras.
