How it works
The SHIMA Jet is a summer jacket designed with extended mesh panels for an excellent cooling performance. It is ideal for city riders as well as for those who like short motorcycle tours. Thanks to its large ventilation panels it provides a high level of airflow, guaranteeing maximum ventilation even on the hottest days. Jet is equipped with a removable wind- and waterproof NextDry™ membrane for inner or outer use. Specifically designed for motorcyclists, NextDry™ lets your skin breathe while keeping it dry and comfortable, allowing you stay focused on the road. Numerous reflective panels ensure that you will be noticed even on days with reduced visibility. Equipped with Level 2 elbow, shoulder and back protectors, the jacket offers increased safety, which is further reinforced by abrasion-resistant fabric reinforcements in the elbow and arm area. In addition, the jacket can still be retrofitted with a chest protector. Thanks to two different connecting zippers, you can fit this jacket perfectly with the highly ventilated Jet pants from the same series to boost airflow and to make a great touring set.

My first riding jacket after getting my license. This jacket comes with CE Level2 back, shoulder and elbow protection. This is good investment as the back, knee and elbow protection can be reused when I upgraded to other higher end Jackets.
