How it works
The lightweight, medium-high SHIMA Strato motorcycle boots are designed for everyday use in the city and summer trips to further destinations. They are highly ventilated thanks to large mesh panels and a 3D mesh lining. The refined construction features reinforcements in strategic locations to ensure safety and cushioning. The Strato is equipped with a pulling strap and ATOP lacing cord closure system that can be easily operated with one hand even when wearing a glove. It has a rubberized gear shifting pad for changing gears with increased grip. Thanks to the large and reflective Night Vision System panels, you are well prepared for night rides. This boot provides the perfect balance between durability, protection and breathability.

Gear shifting causes the threads on the reinforcement patch on the left boot to wear out within one season, after which the patch falls off
The reinforcement patch itself is positioned much higher than it should be and does not align with the gear shift lever
The reflective elements have come off the boot
They are comfortable to walk in; in hot weather (around +30°C) and in cooler conditions (down to +10°C) they remain quite comfortable

Very nice boots, I use it for city riding in temperatures between +10..+20 °C, and they feel just right. I wear size 43, and have ordered size 44 (same as my other Shima Exo Vented boots), they feel a little bit large, like 43.5, but that's not an issue at all. Boots are comfortable, good looking, and Atop lacing system is easy to use. For proper tightening, you need to squat pair of times, and then retighten. Pants can be worn both in and on top.

I got the Shima Strato boots and I'm very satisfied. Comfortable, true to size. Quality seems good, the lacing system is heplful although I have some concerns about how it will cope with time. We'll see, for now I'm enjoying the boots so I can recommend them.
We want everything to fit right . Take some quick measurements if you are unsure of your current clothes size. The most accurate measurements will be those you take in your underwear, applying the measuring tape directly to your body.
