Sidi Mid Adventure 2 Gore-Tex Motorcyle Boots

A little stiff in the beginning as with any boots, but they feel very comfortable and controllable once you break them down.
Plus, they look very good and the protection is up the SIDI name!

These boots are the high quality we expect from Sidi.

However, while they clearly offer high-level protection, this comes at a cost in functionality - they are VERY stiff.

Contrary to some of the comments, walking is initially very difficult and uncomfortable, to the point where I left my boots to gather dust on a shelf for many months after my first few unbearable rides with them. The absence of the ankle-hinge system available with the full-height Adventure 2 version is definitely noticeable. That said, they felt considerably more comfortable after a few weeks of daily riding.

It is important to note that the thickness of the toe of these boots makes conventional use of a shifter on a standard road bike impossible. Unless I adjust the length/position of the shifter, I have to up gears by slipping the right-endge of my boot under the shifter from the side, which is VERY annoying, and does not always work as intended. This can be dangerous. Further more, because these boots are so heavily armoured, it is very difficult to "feel" the shifter when shifting gears, especially when down-shifting. This might seem like a trivial issue, but, I assure you that it makes a MASSIVE difference to the comfort and safety of your motorcycle riding experience.

So, while these boots look fantastic and offer great protection, they do have serious issues. Personally, I am relegating these boots to the back-up shelf as I switch to less-armoured boots that offer better comfort, safety and overall functionality, such as the Sidi Gavia GTX boots.

Excellent product with very good fit and finish. The buckle straps is so good it holds the foot very well. The sole and side protection is classic, worth the buck....package was well done for an international shipment and FC Moto delivered on time..
