Destined to cross any desert and resist any storm, the new Spidi Ventamax represents next benchmark in adventure mesh/waterproof jackets. The 50% mesh outshield perfectly matches the new generation H2Out inner jacket, now featuring high comfort polyamide mesh on the inside.

Well made, it’s a generous length over lower back and hips, and exceptionally well vented. The pockets are deep and easy to access with gloves on. The adjustable neck closure ensures a snug, draft-free fit. The removable H2Out liner is a smart jacket when worn separately.

If it had a back protector included would be 5 stars. The back protector mount is velcro mounted so you need to buy the Spidi branded ones for best fit. The shoulder and elbow pads are robust for concrete encounters. Venting is good while the jacket maintains its shape and doesn’t flop around like others I’ve owned. The jacket itself is nice quality and nice fit once you find the right size. Spidi jackets are Italian tight so an Icon or Teknic medium is a Spidi XL.
