Habe den Ridge V2 nun ein halbes Jahr gefahren und bin begeistert, Stiefel paßt wie angegossen und er ist sehr wohl wasserdicht. Das Material ist kein echtes Leder aber es klimatisiert hervorragend, selbst bei 34 Grad im Schatten ist der Socken noch trocken. Größe ist wie normale Konfektion wenn mann normale Füße hat. Würde im jederzeit wieder kaufen da der Einstieg sehr leicht ist und die Klettverschlüsse super einzustellen sind auf einen guten halt im Schuh.

Not Waterproof (20/09/2021)

I purchased these waterproof boots as my old boots were not waterproof.
I went on a ride with about 5 hrs being in the rain. When I arrived at my destination I proceeded to pour 1+ cups of water out of each boot. My toes were wet first then the rest of my feet got soaked.
They let water in but not out!!
They are comfortable though.

Leider muss ich sagen, dass ich nun bereits das 2. Mal von Alpinestars enttäuscht wurde. Bei Nummer 1 habe ich die Alpinestars GP Pro R2 Handschuhe, welche von ca. 250 € auf 170 € reduziert waren bestellt. Unfassbar steifes Leder und noch schlimmer ist die Plastik Lasche mit der der Handschuh um das Handgelenk am Klett verschlossen wird. Nummer 2 und gerade aktuell sind die Alpinestars Ridge V2 Wasserdichte Motorradstiefel die von 180 € auf 145 € reduziert sind. Schwer wie Blei, hart, unflexibel und drücken sogar noch obwohl ich 2 Nummern größer bestellt habe. Schicke ich umgehend zurück.
