How it works
I have these gloves for about a month now. I used these to temperatures as low as -2 with and without heated grips. With heated grips, these gloves are superb. Nice and comfortable. The internal layers offer good protection from direct cold and wet windblasts. It holds rain for over 2 hours and remains comfortable with the palm side griping over the heated bars Without heated grips, the cold is affecting your hands at 0-3C degrees. The 2-1 system is not as efficient as advertised. If tha hands is in the middle, then there is less heat protection over the finger tips and then you feel very uncomfortable very quickly. I have added latex inner gloves to be able to drive back home Hope this helps.
Very, very good.... but....(04.01.2019)

Background: I ride all year round. My daily commute is a mixture of B, A and M roads both ways (A3, M25). Each way is around 1 hour. The Positives: totally dry. Zero water ingress through glove or cuff. Incredibly warm and heated grips also work. I generally take a large in a variety of manufacturers gloves. 9 is a large with Rukka. It fits but slightly snug. No drama. Quality is excellent. So far ridden in temps down to -1/-2 deg C. Tips of fingers can get slightly cold but So far so good. Wrist strap is highly adjustable. The price from FC Moto with the Black Friday deal made this purchase an absolute no brainer. Same price point as mid/upper range gloves. As opposed to stratospherically high! The Negatives: the zip on the cuff is impossible to do up once you've got one glove already on. I work around it by not having to undo the cuff zips. I can still get glove on and off without issues. The visor wipe is of no use to man or beast. I've fitted a rubber finger wipe (Bob Heath - Amazon). The RRP at £249 is ridiculous. Linings can pull out if you're not careful and one review states impossible to get wet hands into glove. Silk under gloves perhaps? Overall: yes, they are bulky and smaller switch gear can be difficult to use at first. Again, it's something you can get used to. The trade off for warm dry hands is definitely worth it. I've used FC Moto a few times in the past and cannot fault price and extremely swift delivery from Germany.

The positives: waterproof, comfortable, seriously warm at 0 Dec C temperatures during a 1 hour commute at speeds of up to 70 mph on motorway. Tips of fingers usually start feeling the cold but NOT with these. Works well in either "pocket" with the heated grips. Solid construction with good levels of protection. One level down from my Dainese, but still very good. Price from FC Moto especially as I got lucky with Black Friday discount. The negatives: the trade off for warmth is a loss of feel. Minor switch gear in particular are a challenge at first. But you can learn to adapt. You cannot do up/ undo the zipper at the cuff with the gloves on. I manage to get it on and off without touching the closed zip. Can be a struggle due to bulk under jacket sleeves that have no zip to increase aperture (Klim Badlands). Lining can pull out if you're not careful when removing the gloves. Again you can adapt. Visor wipe is of no use to man or beast. Too short and too rigid. RRP of £249 is fairly ridiculous. In summation though, I'll put up with its shortcomings for the sheer warmth on my daily winter commute at the discounted FCM price.
