The helmet, which was specially developed for MotoGP™, is now available to all riders. The Pista GP RR is an exact replica of the AGV helmet used by the champions of the Motorcycle World Championship during their races. For this reason, it has received the new FIM homologation, which certifies the highest possible standard of protection, including protection against dangerous head rotational accelerations. Thanks to AGV's unique Extreme Safety Design protocol, the Pista GP RR already exceeds the requirements of the strict ECE 22.06 approval standard. Every single detail has been developed with maximum performance in mind. The shell, which is made of 100% extremely lightweight carbon fiber composite, ensures that the helmet is not a burden to wear. Both the shape and the metal vents have been analyzed in the wind tunnel and tested by AGV athletes to ensure the best aerodynamic performance and maximum stability at high speeds. The Ultravision optical class 1 visor, with a thickness of up to 5 mm, is an essential part of the protection and enables a panoramic view of 190° and a vertical field of vision of 85°. As a result, the race track, opponents and obstacles can be recognized more clearly and earlier, even in the racing position. The exclusive 360° Adaptive Fit system allows full customization of the interior and offers the possibility to individually select the ideal thickness at the top of the head, neck and cheeks. This ensures basic comfort and allows the rider to concentrate fully on the track.
