Excellent boots at a very good price.
Buying on-line I was a bit nervous re: size & fit but the Gaerne Fastback boots fit exactly as wished.
No complaints with product or first class service from FC Moto.

Have been out in these for a few rides so far. Comfy right out of the box. Waterproof pretty far up (still dry so far). Very nice latches, and great sole traction when hiking in them.

Ordered to the US because we can't buy a 45 euro (10.5 US) size. Only took about 2 weeks, very easy and wouldn't hesitate to buy from FC Moto again.

A quality pair of boots, great design - made in Italy! Also, good to find boots with this level of protection that are subtle and understated. FC Moto delivered to NL very quickly.

Nachdem ich meinen bevorzugten Sidi Stiefel leider retournieren musste, weil er im Bereich des Mittelfußes enorm unbequem und für mich untragbar war, habe ich den Gaerne als Ersatz bestellt. Er hält, was all Reviews versprechen. Die Verarbeitungsqualität macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck, ebenso wie die Materialien. Er sitzt eng, ohne dabei unbequem zu sein oder zu werden. Nach der Erfahrung mit dem Sidi, war das meine größte Sorge. Wenn noch nicht geschehen, müssen Brems-/Schalthebel natürlich angepasst werden. Aber weder Bremsen, noch Schalten, stellen einen vor unlösbare Aufgaben. Bevor ich den Stiefel jedoch bei einer Tour eingesetzt habe, trug ich ihn ein paar Stunden zuhause ein.
Was sind denn jetzt die angedeuteten kleineren Probleme? Ich habe die Stiefel in braun bestellt, da schwarz leider nicht verfügbar war und habe das Leder gewachst, um es vor Witterungseinflüssen zu schützen. Was soll ich sagen … das braun ist jetzt wirklich … sehr … intensiv … um es vorsichtig auszudrücken :D Das muss man mögen …
An der Stelle des Gelenkschutzes entstehen leider Abriebstellen, die sich sehr deutlich abzeichnen. Bei schwarzen Stiefeln fällt das vermutlich weniger auf.
Die Einlegesohle könnte besser sein und wird von mir demnächst ersetzt werden.
Aber alles in allem ist es ein toller Stiefel, den ich wieder kaufen würde … in schwarz :D

Muutaman käyttökerran perusteella voi vain kehua. On tukevat mutta samalla nilkan nivellys antaa liikkuvuutta. Pohjissa hyvin pitoa jopa märällä nurmella. Yleensä käytän koon 43 kenkiä ja otin nämä kokoa 44 jotta on tilaa paksummalle sukalle. Koko piti hyvin paikkansa.

Didn't use them offroad yet.

I normally have size 44 (Alpinestars 44.5) en ordered size 45 because I read a couple of riders reporting the boots being too narrow and having their small toes being squeezed. Unfortunately this was still my experience in my right foot, too narrow at the toes. I will return these and order size 46, or perhaps an alternative like the Tech 7.

Very comfortable immediately, no break-in required but upgraded the trash insoles. Protection is excellent. Fit true to size. I think they look great. The enduro sole has just the right amount of traction, enough grip when off the bike but don't get caught up on your pegs.

Come da descrizione non waterproof ed un po' caldo ma per il resto perfetto per le mie esigenze.

No break-in require, comfortable.

Das sind für meine Zwecke die optimalen Stiefel. Nicht so viele Farben, Understatement. Aber doch sehr stabil. Wenn da nicht die leichten Einlegesohlen wären, die sich schon bei sehr kurzen Laufdistanzen verschieben und auffalten.

Sizing is smaller than was advertised.
I used the chart from F-C Moto, but the boots are too small for me.
The cost to return is WAY too much to justify, so I had to trash a brand new pair of boots.

Boots are really comfortable inside. Good level of protection with all required (minimal) flexibility for movements. It's something middle between MX boots and Street/ADV boots. IMHO: good option for those, who want appropriate level of comfort with extra protection.

Nach einem dutzend Testberichten habe ich den Gaerne Enduro voller Vorfreude bestellt, da ich einen auch seitlich gut schützenden Stiefel wollte.-Nach der ersten Anprobe (gem.Hersteller-Größentabelle!)stand fest: im vorderen Bereich zu weit, zu lockeres Gefühl im Stiefel, im.Fersenbereich dagegen drücken auf beiden Seiten die äußeren Plastikteile stark punktuell, was sehr unangenehm ist. -Zudem: unter den Schalthebel bei meiner GS 800 komme ich nicht mal im Sitzen, im Stehen malgar nicht! Hebelhöher stellen möglich aber dann verrenkt man sich beim Runterschalten. -Last but not least: die Stiefel sind optisch toll und die vernäht Sohle ist wertig.ABER: die Stiefel sind komplett aus PU /Kunststoff! Von wegen braunes Leder,wie manche meinen. Und Gaerne schreibt im Beipacktzettel: zu erwartende Haltbarkeit bei Stiefeln aus dieseräm Material: ca. 3 Jahre...Ernsthaft? "Plastikschuhe" für über 320,00 Euro? Danke Nein.

During a time of short supply, FC Moto was the answer. shipping to Canada was seamless. From order to hitting the trails was 2 weeks.

Very nice Quality / appearance. Good buckles easy to operate with wide adjustment range.
Ankle has good flex for walking.
The insole is not the best, I'd change it for one providing more damping.
True to euro sizing (length) yet unfortunate for me size EU45/US10.5 the toebox is too narrow with no hope for a breaking-in for the rigit cap.

More narrow than my Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro Drystars.

True to euro sizing. Very stiff sole, but the ankle has good flex for walking. There is no blade going up the back of the boot but still quite protected from flexion. Very pleased overall.

Got it for the safety that it gives my legs and ankles. I ride an ATAS and it takes some getting used to but I like the feel and look. If I had budgeted a little more I would have gotten the SC12 or 22. but I don't do any enduro or offroad right now, but if I do i'm good. I also bought into the brand and culture. Loving it so far.. still trying to break it in 5-6 days of constant wearing

Very comfortable for how much protection they offer. Favorite boot so far.
