Favorite Summer Gloves
My first pair of Held Rodney gloves lasted through 8 seasons before the palms started getting so thin that I no longer trusted them. Many perforations plus Cool max liner means my hands stay cool even in the hottest weather. Everybody's hand is a little different, and these fit me very well, although the thumbs are a little short; my solution to a perfect fit is to soak the thumbs in a 50/50 mixture of water and isopropanol, then go riding until they dry.
The best gloves I own
I have been wearing a pair of these Held Rodney gloves for more
than two years now. They wear like iron and are always in my
pannier or tank bag - ready to go. I like the tan color because it
is unique and I think a little cooler when riding in full sun. I bought
these well before my current pair begins to wear out simply
because I want to not have to search high and low for replacements when the time comes
Sehr luftig, trotzdem guter Schutz!
Die Handschuhe sind ideal für die Sommerzeit. Ich habe vor 5 Jahren schon einmal das selbe Modell gekauft, nun fangen sie aber langsam an auszubleichen und sehen schon etwas "geschossen" aus. Leider ist die gleiche Grösse nicht mehr genau so geschnitten, sprich etwas zu gross. Aber noch im Toleranzbereich, daher nur 4 Sterne!

A nice minimalist, retro glove
I'm a great fan of Held gloves across the board --I've never seen one I didn't think was made with high quality, and this is no exception. It's "5 stars" to me, if you consider the use case. It's a casual or perhaps retro style that doesn't look like a racing glove, and it doesn't have the kind of armor that track or even touring gloves have. This is great for running around town where you have minimal speed and risk. You might want to consider something with more armor for highways.
One tip is, I think it runs a wee bit larger than usual Held gloves at the same size. It's very comfortable and feels 'broken in' even when you first put it on.
