Probably great, but choose size carefully (04.02.2019)

Listen closely: If this fit me, I would have given it five stars. It looks gorgeous, durable and blacker than pictured.
2-3 weeks ago, when searching for a leather 2-piece, I came across this one. I checked the size chart both one and two and three times before ordering. I even emailed fc-moto through their contact form to ask what size might fit me. After one week of not hearing from them I had to take my chanses.
A 158cm short woman with a waist measurement of about 65 cm and a 86cm bust I am ususally a size XS or european 34, and I measured my body with and without clothing real carefully before ordering. In my mind I remember clearly that Büse Assen in 36 would fit me well, having a measurement of W:68 B:86 H:95 or something of the like, accoring to their chart.
I still was completely sure I had ordered the right size despite not haven gotten an answer to my email in the contact form.
Today the package arrived. Excitedly I opened it, thought the Büse Assen looked quite big, but tried it on with a t-shirt and thin trousers underneath it. It kind of fit, but not really. I could clearly feel it was one or two sizes too big. And it was too long for me, being the short person that I am.
I took it off, saw the size lable inside the clothing: 36. It should fit. Then I also noticed a tag with measurements: Height: 168-170, Waist 67-70, Bust 97-100. Now I got really confused, so I went to the website to check the size chart again.
The size chart made me even more confused as it said the following: W:84-87 or 72-76, B 102-106 and H: 96-100.
So the only thing I could do was call them. I called, asked about if they had gotten my message I sent a few weeks back, but was asked about an order number. So I told them my order number and explained my problem, told them the whole story. They explained that the size chart was not based on this specific product, but the brand sizes in general, and that they had not changed the size chart. I had simply ordered the wrong size. Then I got to talk to a helpful woman who after hearing what my measurements are recommended me to get a size 34. From my experience in testing the Assen in size 36, I also think a 34 would fit me. However the size chart for size 34 claims the measurements to be W:80-84 or 68-72, B:98-102 H:92-96.
What confuses me now is how there can be such a great difference in waist size. They write two different waist measurements for jackets and trousers respectively. And it's a guessing game to choose the right size for the two-piece suit as you're not buting a jacket OR trousers, but both in one piece.
I would like to recommend FC Moto to make their size charts clearer, or to ask Büse to send more accurate size charts, so that their customers don't have to spend extra time and money on returns!
Anyway. If it had been the right size for me, it would probably had been a great suite. Therefore I am gonna order a new one in size 34. The impression I got from this was that it seems durable. The leather is properly thick yet soft. The seams seem to be good as well. As for the colour, I am more than happy that it was blacker in reality than on the picture.
Büse is a really unknown brand in Sweden, where I live. But after a little bit of reasearch in the swedish motor forums I managed to find a couple of posts saying they've had clothing from büse during many years and never been disappointed. I could not find bad words about the brand in the swedish forums. The protections seem, well, protective.
My review is based on the look and feel of the clothes. I have not yet been riding in them as the weather won't allow it. Still snowing.
For other potential buyers: I would recommend you contacting the seller or manufacturer regarding sizes before buying. Call if you don't get an answer via email. If you don't contact them, get the clothes in your usual size. I'm ususally a size 34, and now I will re-order to a size 34. It will probably fit.
Yes, in the right size I really would reccomend this product and if it wasn't for the extremely confusing size chart and the trouble it caused I would have given the Büse Assen 5/5 stars.
