Airoh Commander Boost モトクロスヘルメット

This is a rather late review as I got this helmet nearly 17 months ago. Early on during my lessons I was struggling with gusts and removed the peak. It still looked great, even my examiner complimented me on my helmet. Soon enough (after the exam) I put the peak back on and have happily been riding it since. The fit is great for my headshape (which is rather narrow yet long front to back). Ventilation is nice and as mentioned, I love how it can be converted.

Less than a week ago, I discovered I lost one of the visor bolts (and the washer it holds) on one side. I could safely ride home as long as I kept the visor closed. It was stable enough like that. At home I removed the visor and kept riding with goggles (which still works and looks great on a helmet like this) as I tried to get hold of these little parts. My rather well equipped local bike-gear shop didn't have them even though they stock loads of Airoh helmets. Even the Airoh online webshop didn't offer what I needed. I sent a question to FC Moto and before I even read their response, they had promptly sent a full visor and peak connector kit in the mail. All the little specific parts one may lose or wear out which hold the visor and peak. Half a week after I had lost this little bolt and the washer, I had all these little parts to reconnect the visor and tons of spares.

Of course whether this is a good fit really depends on the head shape, which is different for everyone. It works well for me. What saved it for me is that when no one (even Airoh themselves) could send these parts, FC Moto put them in the mail when I merely explained the situation. Truly excellent service!
