Owned the boots for a year, crashed many times in the dirt and in the street. Saved my ankles from twisting forces, crushing forces and impacts from roots and stumps and the bike crushing on top of me.
Fitment? Nice and roomy in the toes and tight everywhere else. Waterproofing could be better. However I've busted a giant hole from the Kickstarter slipping and smacking me in the upper ankle area many times. Shit hurt bad AF with the boot imagine without. Will need reinforcement in that area which I think the newer models have. Still giving it an honest 5 star because of the price I paid for it which was about 75. Not worth the current price increase imo because of the waterproofing, lack of reinforcement in that specific area where the Kickstarter smacks you.
TDLR? Good strong boot, with plastic buckles/rachets that can flex and pop out of place during a crash preventing it getting caught too bad and wrenching your foot. Looks good and will protect in most normal crashes. Really nice protection against pegs too.
Cons? Water could pool up in the sole if you've compromised the boot, and could do with an extra piece of plastic where you can get kick slip. A realistic 4.5/5
