A satisfying step up from my budget helmet (09.04.2026)

I needed to replace a HJC C70 and naturally wanted to keep the same features (drop down visor, quick release clasp etc) when stepping up to something more comfortable and a little quieter. The Vector II is good in this regard. The padding is very plush and comfortable, and because it is snug around the jaw and neck it's also quieter than my C70 (though earplugs are still required if riding at speed). Some unexpected perks I discovered are that it has actual cutouts in the helmet foam for speakers so they don't dig into your ears, and the visor provides a very wide field of vision. I am happy with the number of vents but I find them (and the visor lever for that matter) hard to open and close while riding.
