Great with a big "but here's the problem"(14.08.2024)

Having worn lined jeans for 5 years in a row, getting a pair of single layered ones is a pleasant surprise, indeed. My rear end doesn't get soaking wet immediately after putting them on and I can actually feel the wind blowing through them slightly when I'm riding, which definitely helps on those warmer days. However, I do feel like I would be getting cold much sooner going into the off-season. the sizing is pretty much spot-on. I'm between size 31 and 32, usually slim, and the M (size 32, in fact) fits me perfectly.
Seemingly a great pair of quality-made pants, but here's the issue - they have these neatly integrated quick access zipper pockets for the knee armour, which are great, but having them installed on the inside of the leg is a complete disaster. The pull tabs, however small they are, are always biting me in the knees when I'm riding. And unless you're doing splits on some sort of a cruiser holding on to the bike by the monkey bars - you MOST DEFINITELY WILL SCRATCH THE HELL OUT OF THE SIDES OF YOUR BIKE with them. There's simply no way around it unless you get rid of the zipper tabs, if not the zippers themselves. I'm yet to figure out a better way to solve this ridiculous puzzle.
