Let me first say that FCMoto gave me the best deal and fast service. I'm sure 99% of riders would be very happy with this jacket. I bought this jacket to replace a 6 year old Spidi H2Out. I ride all winter and was looking for a jacket that would handle low, 12°F, temperatures with a little help. This jacket, with a sweatshirt underneath, is good down to mid 30°F. I bought a heated vest and will try that when it gets colder. For cold weather, below freezing, I have 2 suggestions. 1. The liner needs a taller collar and a more positive attachment between the two sides when you zip the coat up. There is a flap that overlaps when you zip the coat. 2. The zip off collar on the outer shell is awkward when not in use. Merlin seems to be fond of magnets. Maybe a couple of magnets to pin the collar to the shoulders. If the liner had a taller collar the outer collar would be more useful. That being said all my complaints are for riding in temp's below freezing. Above freezing I love this jacket. It's lighter and more comfortable then my old jacket. I will figure out how to make this jacket work. I put 500 miles on my car and over 10,000 miles on my motorcycle a year.
