The one-piece SHIMA Apex RS leather suit was created for adrenaline lovers. It is distinguished not only by its dynamic design but also by its high level of safety. The suit features shoulder, elbow, hip and knee protectors together with the ArmorPlus back protector, external shoulder sliders and replaceable knee and elbow sliders. The impact zones are additionally protected by the DuoLayer Protection™ System and the highest quality cow hide combined with double and triple seams. Vented sections in the chest and legs area increase the internal airflow. Stretchy inner sections and extra large accordion inserts allow freedom of movement, while a double leg calf zip opening allows for easy entry and a better fit. The Apex RS is equipped with a large aerodynamic hump that reduces the formation of turbulent air behind the helmet. When you feel thirsty, you can keep your hydration level up with the H2O HydroBag, which can be placed inside the hump (the HydroBag is sold separately). The EvoLink System allows a combination with inner layers such as a cooling or heating vest (available as an option). The suit can be additionally equipped with an optional SAS-TEC chest protector to make you feel even more secure.

Manufacturer's note:
If you measure between two sizes when determining the size the manufacturer recommends to choose the larger size.
Solid suit. Lots of stretch panels and the D30 style armor is everywhere. Pretty amazing for the price compared to Beriks at the same price point. Adjustable calf zipper is nice for them thicc fellas. Stitching looks solid, now just gotta crash test it. With the kevlar reinforcement near the joints like the high end Astars suit, im feeling pretty confident in it not bursting at the first sign of tarmac, Coming from a berik Motegi it fits size 56 spot on, with a slightly sportier fit

I received this product on Wednesday, and on Saturday I crashed 150 kmh at a wet track day. Suit held up well and I had no serious injuries - just a slightly sore R hip, elbow and shoulder. I was sliding for a while and made the mistake of putting my arm out to slow me down, but then started rolling like a washing machine on spin cycle. I normally fit size 52, but saw the other reviews saying how the sizing for this suit runs small, so chose 54. I'm glad I did. I'm 185 cm tall and about 78kg. Suit fits well, although arms and legs are a bit shorter than usual. Definitely a race fit that is great on a sports bike

Haven't crash tested the suit yet but this is my first few impressions from trying it on.
I got a Size 52 as 5'11 which is borderline tight. Suit seems quite warm with the liner inside. Stretch material seems good and the sliders seem to be OK quality. The suit was quite stiff around the shoulders at the start but after using the suit a couple of times it got a lot better.
Not a fan of the dual-zipper around the calves. I'd much rather have two separate zippers if I want to be able to adjust the area.
Overall seems solid for the price and a good value pack, if Shima sorts out some minor quirks with the suit it's one really good deal.
