Scorpion ADX-1 Horizon ヘルメット

Great multi functional helmet. Bought it for my wife as I have the same helmet already for few years, and totally happy with it. Can definitely recommend, as in this price level it is absolutely best choice.

Have had one huge accident where my head was involved and it did the job perfectly. For a modular it is not that noisy at all and although the Schuberth and Shoei are much quieter and definitely better quality helmets, there just is not a big enough difference to warrant the additional expense. The cheek pads can be quite tight, and for rounder faced people, getting the thinner pads may help here. If you are using the adventure peek, I suggest that you use lock-tight in the screws before use to ensure that you don't loose them. The cut outs for the aftermarket bluetooth comms speakers are just a touch too small and possibly a bit low in the helmet, and I find that the edges of my ears just press slightly on the speakers and can hurt a little after 4 to 5 hours on the bike. I use an less expensive Chinese bluetooth headset (T-Com) which works exceptionally well in this helmet anywhere up to about 120kmh...I am riding a R1200GS with a great screen, so do take that into consideration.

The reviews nail it - this is a very capable helmet, with loads of features that are most common in the premium brands, at a very good price point. The sizing *is* tighter than average - I am finding mine perfect in the open-face mode, but a tad snug when it is locked down...but then it is still very new, and so I expect the padding to mould a bit still. The wind resistance begins to be felt above 50-60 km/h, and so I usually drop it then. The sun visor is excellent. I'm very happy with the purchase.
