I've been using this helmet for a couple of months now and it really is an upgrade from my last one It has its strengths and its weaknesses however. Strengths: It looks really good, is FIM rated, uses D ring fasteners and uses scorpion's air system for getting a tighter fit. It has great visibility, doesn't feel too heavy on the head and is really stable at high speeds. It has good points to mount a speaker system, as well as a nice flat spot on the chin where a 3M camera mount can go. It's also surprisingly comfortable for longer rides. Weaknesses: Visor mechanism isn't as sturdy as I'd personally like. I can't keep this helmet half open at high-ish speeds or it will close itself. It's a bit loud, I had to get new hearing protection for this helmet specifically. Something with a 30db rating is good to use in this helmet. I found 20db to be too little. Speaker pockets are quite high up and far back meaning it's a bit hard to hear conversations sometimes. Could be my head shape but I'm not the only one that's commented on this. Pinlock maxvision rubs up against helmet when closing visor, it's not major and you can still close it but it seems like an oversight. It doesn't damage the helmet at all so I would consider that a nitpick.

I'm coming from a touring helmet so I was used to a very comfy setup, this helmet whilst not as comfortable does fill the shoes of my last helmet, overall a really great helmet that I would strongly recommend if you're looking for something sportier.
