Bought this for a summer tour, as will be leading a group so I wanted something that wasn't black and easily confused with perhaps other riders. Waterproof, so ideal for the odd downpours likely expected whenever I go out on 2 wheels. However, the waterproof membrane underneath has a zip front and when fastening the outer jacket, reveals the front membrane zip and liner in the front of the jacket. It looks like I'm definitely wearing something underneath, and has those lumpy bumpy looks on lighter clothing that reveal too much. If black, it would disguise the look, but on this colour, no.
Everything else about the jacket is spot on, warm but not a winter jacket. It's for the May-Sept time of year, and maybe lose the waterproof membrane if heading to somewhere showy...

The product is really great! sizing is ok, the size chart is true to size. I love how it has many pockets and one designated pocket for waterproofing.. the extra membrane that makes it waterproof is a great idea. you can always just keep it in your bag and put it once you need it. the material is also great. with protection. I will just use my back protector from my other jackets since this one has none included. there are shoulder and elbow protectors already.
