Merlin Gable Motorcykel Läderjacka

Gable är Merlins mest innovativa och prestationsinriktade skinnjacka. Den vattentäta och andningsbara tekniken i Gable har tvättats direkt in i lädret för att förhindra att vatten tränger igenom, vilket lämnar lädret (och ryttaren) helt torrt. Ett avtagbart termiskt helärmat foder ingår också. Så du är perfekt utrustad när temperaturen sjunker.

Great jacket for the price (21.03.2025)

Jacket is made of thick quality leather and together with the whole protectors you feel very safe on the road. The pockets are spacious enough and the included second warm layer keeps me warm at temperatures around 3°C. The Waterproofness is reliable, however the area around the neck is not protected enough to guarantee no rain will drip inside from the helmet downwards. Also since the leather material is quite robust, this also means freedom of movement is restricted compared to jackets with a combination of leather and textile. The worst part is the cuff area, where using the tighter setting is physically impossible for me without having to let the material bend in an unsightly way. Would probably only buy it again for the combination of rainproofness in a classic looking jacket.

I purchased the "dark red" version, but it is more "oxblood" in appearance.

Clearly, the oxblood colour of this jacket distinguishes it from other motorcycle jackets. Some people will love it, other people ... not so much.

Personally, I have an array of black jackets, and I wanted at least 1 jacket that was not black. I am not a fan of those boring brown jackets, so this beautiful oxblood jacket was my solution.

It comes with a high-quality finish and it is very comfortable. The leather is soft and smooth to the touch, while remaining quite thick. It fits true to size.

The jacket did come with D3O armor for the elbows, shoulders and back. The back armour is the slim level-1 stealth armour, which is usually pretty difficult to find, and pretty comfortable.

I recommend this jacket.
