Comfy pants (19.04.2021)

Good for colder weather, the size I find a bit large. The material is rather thick and a bit heavy. Overall, pleased.
Perfect for urban commuting (18.01.2020)

I bought my Revit Alpha Chinos a year ago and they are great in all terms. Protection (knees and hips) is not visible at all. Really comfortable for urban riding, walking and sitting. However, the length is rather short. I bought W32 L36 and the waist was perfect, but the length was too short. Knees protection was far above my knees when sitting on the bike. Therefore, I asked a sewing lady to move knees protection 10 cm lower and slightly increase the length of the pants by 2 cm. Then Revit Alpha Chinos became almost perfect urban riding pants for everyday commuting.
I got to an accident this September when a lady decided to make a left turn without letting anyone else to go straight forward. I was in Revit Alpha Chinos pants, Revit Ignition jacket, Revit Sand gloves, Scorpion helmet and Icon Patrol 2 boots. The Revit’s Alpha Chinos protection worked as it should and saved my knees, my hip and pelvic bones. However, I broke my leg just above the ankle where the protection of Icon Patrol 2 boots were not enough.
That is why now I’m looking for urban riding boots but with substantive hinged ankle protection. What can you recommend? I thought about Icon Raiden DRK boots but it is stated that they are discontinued.
Great quality but too length is far too short (27.08.2019)

Quality is superb. The protectors are so thin they are hardly noticeable. Not so hot in summer as my old Knox kevlar jeans but warm due to thick fabric. Still quite bearable in 30 Celsius. Perfect for warm/moderate hot weather daily commuting to/from work.
Nevertheless, I had a sizing problem as the length is very short. I am 190 cm tall and a slim fit. I chose W32 and Long 36 version. The waist fit me well but the length was awful. The knee protectors were all the way above my knees in sitting position and the overall length was too short for me. So I went to the sewing lady and she managed to move the protectors lower by 10 cm and used inner lining from the belt to increase the overall length by 4 cm from each side. Only now the pants fit me well with protectors covering my knees right and not showing my ankle to everybody.
