Love this leather jacket. Absolutely brilliant, fits well high quality, i love wearing it.

I bought a medium - I am 5’8” 77kg and 39.5”chest.
The M is almost tight with the liner in but took that out and it’s nice and snug fit. Chest and shoulders fit nice. It’s only tight around waist and belly - though at 77kg I'm no barrel so it’s a little surprising. Online advice is to start off wearing without the liner and allow it to stretch - this is good advice. The leather and stitching is good quality. It’s a heavy jacket. It look a fantastic and I feel great when I wear it. It’s awesome.

Very good quality of the leather and not only, nice quality zippers, very nice termal lining with long sleeves not just the vest .
I took out the protectors and I can say you can deffenetly use it also for outside as a normal kacket and quite worm.
Size wise.. I am 181cm 93kg, athletic figure and I chose XL, perfect fit for me, tried it with and without the lining obviously a bit larger without the linen but not a lot.
Deffenetly not a good fit for beer belly :)

This is a high quality item. The leather is thick and supple with a quality feel. The leather is supple but stiff due do it’s thickness when new. I’m a 42” chest with a bit of a belly and I bought a L. It’s a great fit. A little snug with the lining and armour installed but it will give as it breaks in… and a word about the armour, it’s quite malleable so very unobtrusive.
The jacket lining is cotton and very comfortable, again with a quality feel.
I have been caught in the rain and I can say it hasn’t let the water in, however it was only a brief shower so can’t really comment on how well the membrane will perform in a downpour.
With the thermal liner removed, the jacket is quite warm on a hot day, and there’s no ventilation, but I just unzip a little to let the air in and all’s good.
Overall I’m super happy with this jacket. Great protection, looks fantastic and oozes quality.

Very good quality, very good looking, well protected. Leather is not soft, need a couple of moths to break in.
Jacket is very warm with the luck of ventilation. It is ok for 10-20C without termal lining, 0-10C - with it. Useless for hard rainy weather ant ride in city at tempr. above 20C.
Regarding the size. I found plenty issues regarding the size of Helstons jackets on web. There are a lot of recomendations to order 1 or 2 size larger than size usually order. It is not true at the most cases:
1. I am 185cm, 95 kg. May size is L, but in some cases I need XL. So I ordered XXL, according to reviews. It was pretty too large, I should change it to XL.
2. XL is ok with termal lining. It is slightly too large without termal lining, but still OK.
3. But the issue is, the leather will give up in couple of months and it will become too large to wear without termal lining. Hope it still be possible to wear with termal lining.
4. So, my size of Helstons ir L, as a regular clothing. My recomendation - to orger the same size as regular clothing and take some moths to brake in.
5. Beer belly owner, do not follow this recommendation, you will not fit, order one size large :)
