X-Lite X-1003 Hi-Visibility N-Com

Le design et les finitions sont abouties. Les plastiques semblent fragiles (aération, manette visière solaire) mais pas de mauvaises surprises pour l'instant.
Au départ j'avais pris la taille M58, très confort mais trop de flottement. J'ai changé avec un M57, un peu serré et la mentonnière ne clip pas facilement quand on la ferme.
Dépression d'air désagréable (l'hiver) au niveau casque/crane avec la mentonnière relevée.
Très léger par rapport à mon Airoh précédent. Mais pas moins bruyant !!
Le prix de ce casque est trop élevé par rapport à ses qualités.

I have a X-Lite race helmet so I am already onto the brand, my first touring helmet was a HJC Rapha Max and I was not happy with the build quality: so I bought the X1003 in high viz yellow. Straight away I was happy with the firm and comfortable fit and its build quality. After long distance it is still as comfortable as any helmet could be. The vents, like all the X-Lite range, work very well and are a gift on those hot touring days. The inner dark visor is very useful and works smoothly and is easy to operate. I was most impressed with the flip front as it is smooth and easy to operate and, most importantly, it closes very easily too. Other flip front require slamming or pushing home which moves the lid on your head. The high viz works well too, I bought it in this colour for the obvious road safety reason but when touring with friends and separated in towns you are easily picked out. I would definitely recommend this helmet to anyone, high quality, comfortable and well priced.
