ABUS Granit Detecto SmartX 8078 Brake Disc Lock

The ABUS Granit Detecto SmartX 8078 alarm brake disc lock offers high protection, is user-friendly and can be operated with both IOS and Android smartphones.

Features:

13,5mm locking bolt made of specially hardened steel
SmartX locking system with Bluetooth function - High-quality, keyless locking system offers most user-friendly operation
Security Layer to protect the technical unit from brutal attacks
USB-C connection
ABUS App Connection
Location memory from the last time the motorcycle was parked
Alarm function with at least 100 dB for 15 seconds, then automatically rearming
3D Position Detection - detects vibrations and smallest movements in all three dimensions and triggers the alarm
The bolt, the housing and the supporting parts of the locking mechanism are made of specially hardened steel
Thanks to the automatic brake disk detection system, the lock can be transported in closed position without activating the alarm
Acoustic and optical signals (multicolored LED) indicate battery and activity status

After 1 year and 7 months stopped working , the mechanism jammed , bearly took it off the wheel .
For the premium price I expected more years of usage .
If you considering buy it , think twice , in my personal expiration the keyed version much more reliable.

Only got it yesterday. Set it up, wich is very easily done. Bingo, works perfectly. Very solid, looks like and feels like proper german craftsmanship. Time will tell. Only downside, no reminder cable.
