I bought this jacket with the Sutherland pants from Ixon too. At the first use it was perfect. Completely dry. Second use, I felt the horrible cold drop trying to make its way to my butt and she succeed. I got my but and crotch all wet. I did not stressed with that at first. Maybe it was me that did not closed it well. Nope!. At my third need to stay dry with the Ixon, I got wet from neck to boots. And wet like I never been in 25years of riding.
