Vollwertige, eher warme 3-4 Jahreszeiten Jacke. Sehr hohes Verarbeitungsniveau. Jediglich das "Reißverschluss"system ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.

My husband's first Rukka suit survived 3 years of continuous riding and two crashes. I was impressed and so I decided to buy my own Rukka Armi jacket and trouser set when I started riding. Sadly Rukka have changed the design of their products which, in turn, has reduced the quality.

Firstly, the positives. The jacket is comfortable and the armour makes me feel very protected. I have bought the yellow/black colour scheme which makes me very visible and I have never got wet in a heavy downpour. The air vents also provide welcome relief on sunny days.

Now for the negatives. Rukka have changed the zip system to a plastic version, which requires regular lubrication with the supplied pen to try to stop it from drying out and splitting. Unfortunately my zip split away from the main jacket within the first few months (despite only wearing the jacket about 2-3 times a week) and had to be returned to Germany for repair under the warranty. One year on, the popper at the bottom of the jacket has become stiff which is making it difficult to open and close. The strain on the jacket is causing the plastic zip to start splitting again and so a second claim on the warranty looks likely. My husband, who bought a new Rukka jacket last year, is also experiencing the same problems and it is a common complaint on many biking forums.

The lining on my Rukka trousers has also frayed (there's a big hole now) and the zip toggle has broken off.

Although we both love the look and feel of our Rukka suits, my husband and I will be looking at alternative brands when we replace our bike gear because, sadly, we can no longer associate Rukka with quality.

I have been using this model mainly during colder days and on longer tours. It is fantastic jacket, along with trousers. When it rains, outfit stays dry, and drop just falls out. It is quite warm and good ventilated. For me it is important for me couse i get cold quickly. And the most important for tall and slim ladies - it fits perfectly.
