I am 2m tall and 110 kg and the 3XL size just fitted perfect. Great quality and would definitely recommend it.

This is probably the best jacket i have ever tried. It's useful in all weather condition , if it's 30C outside open the vents and takeoff the sleeve and you can ride all day , if it's raining the jacket itself is a bit rainproof but the included rain jacket works great. There's almost too many pockets in this jacket
The sizing is pretty accurate the only downside is the sleeves are on the long side. It's also pretty heavy but when riding it doesn't feel heavy but I always take off right when getting my bike

Viele Lüftungsmöglichkeiten

Die Jacke hat tolle Funktionen, viele Taschen und abnehmbare Ärmel. Die Kängurutasche finde ich super praktisch! Auch mit Handschuhen kommt man schnell mal an das Portmonee um die Mautstelle zu bezahlen. Die Belüftung an Brust und Rücken funktionieren hervorragend. Die Ärmel lassen sich abnehmen und durch die verbauten Protektoren bleibt der Schutz erhalten. Ich wurde mir allerdings zusätzliche Belüftungen an den Ärmel wünschen. Leider ist es mit Ärmeln recht warm und ohne bei längeren Fahrten doch recht kühl. Hier waren kleine Zusatz Reißverschlüsse zur Belüftung eine hervorragende Ergänzung. Dann wäre die Jacke der absolute Allrounder. Im Regen halt sie lange dicht und die mitgelieferte Regenjacke lasst sich problemlos auch drüber ziehen. Bei 183cm und breiten Schultern sitzt 2xl noch gut aber viel Luft ist da nicht mehr. Der asymmetrische Reißverschluss ist anfangs etwas gewöhnungsbedurftigt, nach kurzer Eingewöhnung aber kein Problem. Der Kragen durfte etwas überarbeitet werden. Hier kratzen ab und zu mal die Nähte bzw. Klettverschluesse. Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden und kann die Jacke klar empfehlen….

I've been reading a lot and did a lot of research to find the perfect jacket for my needs.
I live in South Africa and drive an Africa Twin 1100 on and off road. Temps go down to 10-15C in winter and 30-35C in summer.
So far, the jacket has been delivering on all aspects.
It's material seems durable, you can easily remove the outer sleeve or get proper ventilation - it is basically awesome.
I have also bought the Alpinestars Nucleon KR-1 CELLi Back Protector to go with.
Very impressed.
Size wise, I am 171 for 82kg and the M is PERFECT (which is my normal size). No need whatsoever for me to go up to L - it would have been way oversized.

Zwar bin ich die Jacke noch nicht Probe gefahren, aber erster Eindruck der Jacke ist super. Durchdachte Details, sehr gut verarbeitet. Gefällt auf ganzer Linie.

Jacket looking great, material feels strong, after inserting back protector L2 - D30 perfect fit jacket is feeling little bit on heavy side.
In the morning had to open back ventilation as started sweating.
Off road had to open front ventilation. Sleeves still on because of dry wind which feels cold in low humidity.
On the way back local roads no wind took sleeves down and temperature wise jacket is perfect.
Love pocket stile, quick access to kangaroo front pocket, not important staff in side pockets and sun glasses in inner pocket. Elastic Belt is coming with jacket to keep it close to your body.
What I Do Not like, back kangaroo pocket without at least Velcro system to keep it closed. I lost layer of skin because material touching you back side of neck is rough, Just top of the collar is made of soft material. I will have to wear some T-shirt or something around my neck to avoid same issue.
Ideas - As anyway you have to stop to remove sleeves and open and close ventilation it could be good to add button to fix top of inner sleeve for outside layer and prevent pulling inner one on hand when you are sweating.
Waterproof layer looks good and light. Could be worn inside and outside of jacket. However not sure that I will ever need it.
Tech5 airbag fits perfectly but could be too hot. Also did not try it as was doing off-road and I did not want to test airbag sensors as anyway recommendation is not to use it for off-road.
Summary! I love this jacket. I will visit tailor and add buttons, Velcro and something soft on collar and this jacket will become one jacket for all and my golden standard. I have at least twenty other jackets from top premium to low entry point but this one is all what I need.

Super veste. Beaucoup de poche. Ceretes un peu lourde. La poche kangourou est absolument génial, super pratique pour y mettre GPS, gants, lunettes, etc...
Bien aérée sur le buste mais pour être au top de la ventilation il manque des aérations sur les bras en usage routier (donc avec la manche solidaire à la veste)
Le must serait d'avoir un compartiment dorsal pour un camelbak (en off-road on boit souvent)

Die Verarbeitung scheint gut und verspricht Langlebigkeit. Ob es so ist werden wir sehen.
Die Seitentaschen sind so an der Seite angebracht dass man trotz Handy und Portemonnaie noch sitzen kann. Das ist bei den meisten Jacken immer schlecht.
Die Bauchtaschen sind riesig und man kann viel rein packen.
Die Klappen vorne und hinten zum lüften sind sehr praktisch und die abnehmbaren Ärmel habe ich neulich schon schätzen gelernt und habe dafür viel Neid geerntet.
Und eine Regenjacke ist auch noch dabei.
Bis jetzt kann ich die Jacke nur empfehlen.

Being in Canada, we go under heavy rain a lot in the riding season and this jacket has kept me dry all day long while remaining extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend to someone who wants to drive in all sorts of conditions

La calidad es excelente, muy funcional, cuesta inicialmente acostumbrase al cierre principal por quedar a un costado. la recomiendo. Se debería pedir una talla adicional a la habitual, me hicieron esa recomendación y tenían toda la razón.

Super Jacke. Bin ca. 178 groß, eher dünn und die Größe S passt mir perfekt. Die Jacke liegt gut an, fühlt sich hochwertig an und ist auch relativ leiht. Die großen Belüftungspanels machen die Jacke auch im Hochsommer äußerst angenehm. Stauraum ist durch die vielen großen Taschen mehr als genug vorhanden.

I'm 175 cm tall, 91 kg and size L is just right. I have tried size M and it's good, better fit, but my elbow is in pain when I bend my arm. With L size you won't make a mistake, you will have a little bit more comfort when wearing.
Negatives about this jacket is; forearm part of jacket is a little bit longer and the main zipper, in my opinion, should have longer strap for pulling. Because with gloves you can easily make a mistake and pull the front mesh opening.

This is an extremely good adventure jacket: versatile and effective. Two minor bad points: the offset zip takes a little getting used to (using the kidney belt makes it easier), and sometimes the velcro patch at the collar scratches my neck if it isn't done up just right. The rest is all good!

It's comparatively warm, because there's no zip in the middle to let cold air in - great in cooler weather. The venting afforded by the front and rear panels is outstanding; far better than I expected. In slower off-road conditions in hot weather, removing the sleeves offers additional effective cooling. I've subsequently bought the chest protector, and that does not seem to reduce the venting at all.

Part of the reason I bought this jacket was to complement my A* Tech Air 5 vest. This jacket does work better with it than my older other brand jacket (which was great for 6 years before I bought the air bag).

The cuffs don't suit gauntlet style racing gloves. You'll need short-cuff or wider long cuff gloves.

Haven't tested the waterproof jacket yet.

The jacket has a lot of options and tries to cover a lot of scenarios, but in doing so it becomes a very strange jacket.
The fit is weird. Once you are on the bike it is ok, but putting it on is a strange experience - almost like the jacket isn't made for humans.
Over many years of driving bikes I have owned and worn many jackets. This is without doubt the strangest fitting jacket I have ever owned. Will take a lot of getting used to.

The jacket is designed to deal with both hot and cold temperatures, and to some degree it does achieve that - for cold weather it is pretty good, especially when the waterproof separate (included) thin jacket is worn over.
For hot weather it is ok I guess, it has reasonable ventilation and if used with a coolvest it should be fine - I still have to try this but I believe it will work ok.
For everything between hot and cold the jacket doesn't really work. Unless it is warm enough to take off the outer sleeves, the jacket is too warm for comfort. I think you have to have a regular jacket for temperatures between 18 and 26 celcius - in that range the jacket just doesn't work that well.

The jacket is really heavy. I haven't weighed it but it is the heaviest jacket I have ever worn, and I have a proper leather biking jacket - which weighs about half as much.

Would I buy it again? I don't think so. For this price two dedicated jackets, one for winter and one for summer would have been a better choice.

I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Alpinestars Halo Drystar jacket. I think it's the perfect 4 season jacket for me. With the front and rear panels folded in and the sleeves removed, it provides similar ventilation as a mesh jacket in warm weather. If it gets colder, the panels and sleeves go back on quickly. The included waterproof jacket can be worn inside for extra warmth or outside for rain protection. With our New Zealand climate that can change from summer to winter in a matter of hours, I really love that I can have all the options without having to carry a suitcase on the motorcycle! As a bonus, it works well with my In&Motion/Furygan airbag vest to provide extra core protection.

Jacke ist gut verarbeitet und passt perfekt. Auch die Möglichkeit zur Nachrüstung diverser Protektoren ist ein nettes Feature.
