Unbeatable
Fantastic warm weather jacket. Looks great, extremely comfortable, allows for lots of air flow, and has numerous thoughtful practical features such as a drop down back, 2 internal pockets, adjusters for both the sleeves and waist, and both a belt and zip trouser connection. And, on top of all that, it’s AA rated and is extremely good value for money. I don’t normally write product reviews but this jacket really exceeded my expectations and I felt compelled to recommend it to others looking for a retro-styled mesh jacket

Great comfortable garment and excellent materials used to make this jacket but sadly, it appears that my jacket came in with a manufacturer defect. The mesh material on the inside of the right arm twists and corkscrews into an impassable bind everytime I attempt to wear the jacket. I believe it is due to improper
alignment of the stitching within the right arm.

Air enters well and cools in the summer, the jacket is comfortable and elegant!
Super stylish and comfortable
Was thinking about to get the textile jacket for some time. I liked the review on this jacket and so ordered it from FC-Moto. Was a bit struggling with the size (was right between L and XL with height 187cm) and decided to go with XL. I love the jacket... it is not that light as I thought but it is very stylish and comfortable. The XL is just right.
High quality
Very nicely made. Bought it one size smaller than the sizing directions indicated due to comments from others. It fits well. Am considering upgrading body armor to level 2. The olive color is better described as brown. Only issue is it is a left hand zipper, which makes it a bit fiddly for me to use.

170cm 70kg 胴囲82cmでサイズSでピッタリです。肩、袖の一部がワックスドコットンでD30が片袖背中に付いているので重さはありますが安心感には代えられません。気温32度でも走行中は快適ですし、肩、袖のワックスドコットンが直射日光の断熱効果があるように感じます。何よりデザインが秀逸です。
Excellent summer riding jacket
Exactly what I expected and received. Cool comfortable, fashionable, excellent bills quality. FC-MOTO provides accurate sizing information, price was on point, and delivery was quick. Highly recommend FC-MOYO and merlin brand products.
Love the jacket and true to advertisement
Fits perfect, looks great, comfortable in Arizona hot weather when worn with a t-shirt, and comfortable in cold weather with a sweater. Get one size up. I normally wear XL... XXL fit perfectly.
Sehr gute Jacke
Ich habe die Jacke Anfang des Sommers gekauft und bin sehr damit zufrieden. Der Tragekomfort ist super. Bei heißen Tagen gut belüftet, dass selbst im Stop'n'go- Verkehr kein Schweiß aufkommt. Die Maße sind korrekt, was beim mir (Schwergewicht Gr. 4XL) sehr wichtig ist und dazu führt, dass ich mich in der Jacke nicht wie in der Wurstpelle fühle. Aus meiner Sicht eine echte Empfehlungen für alle, die in "Erwachsenen- Größe" unterwegs sind.
An exemplary blend of functionality with great style
The Merlin Chigwell Lite is absolutely fantastic! As a hot weather jacket it works extremely well keeping one cool while providing very good protection. It is also a very good looking jacket and has a great retro style to it.
I tested my jacket on a hot, summer day in Texas. It was very comfortable. The temperature was 91 º F (32 º C) and the air flowed nicely through this jacket. Even when I was in slow moving traffic, the jacket did not become too hot. This is definitely a great summer jacket.
As far as fit is concerned, I am 6' 2", 195 lbs and 42 chest. The large fit nicely. The jacket was slightly loose at the waist (less tapered then some riding jackets), but not only was this taken out with the waist adjusters, but also helps with ventilation.
As far as style is concerned. This is the best looking mesh jacket I have seen. It looks awesome and doesn't have the awkward bulging look that so many of the competitors have. The retro styling make this a great looking jacket.
Overall, the Merlin Chigwell Lite is a great looking jacket that combines comfortable hot weather protection with superb style.
Sehr luftig und perfekt für den Sommer
Habe mir diese Jacke speziell für den Sommer gekauft. Die Jacke ist sehr luftdurchlässig und kühlt sehr schön durch den Fahrtwind runter. Dabei bietet sie sehr guten Schutz und sieht richtig Retro mässig aus. Ab ca 15 Grad einsetzbar. Davor ist sie fast ein bisschen zu kühl. Ganz klare Empfehlung für warme sommertage und natürlich im speziellen für Retro Bikes
